Saint John Toyota and Lexus of Saint John are continuing to grow and as such we are hiring an additional Service Advisor. To ensure optimum customer service, we’re hiring a Service Advisor to work one-on-one with our clients and team. Your job will be to advise customers on the available parts and service options when their vehicles need repairs and service. You will be tasked to develop extensive product knowledge and to serve all of our customers in a polite, courteous and professional manner. We offer in-house training and support as well as competitive wages and commission.
Responsibilities;
Asks customers to explain specific vehicle issues.
Take detailed notes about symptoms based on customer explanation.
Enter customer information into system database.
Advise customer on necessary repairs and maintenance.
Work with customer to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.
Draw up work order.
Assign service to specific mechanic.
Provide cost estimates to customers.
Answer questions posed by customers.
Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work.
Explain the work completed by mechanics and make suggestion for future maintenance.
Provide billing statements and explain billing details.
Process payments.
Requirements;
Experience in the automotive field.
A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
Proficiency with industry-specific software.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.
Must have High School equivalency
Must have valid drivers license
